This guide references EV25, part 783800, and the July 2018 Eventer 20 / 25 manual linked by Sumner. Match the applicable edition to the unit identification.
For a conference or awards event, describe the item to lift, date, venue, approximate height and room restrictions. We can compare a lift with a documented attachment against another support solution and define equipment, installation or assistance to quote.
Prepare the proposal
- Prepare nameplate, attachment and route photos: unloading, doors, elevator, turns, thresholds and floor. Measure clear openings and check venue conditions; door width alone is insufficient.
- Separate transport dimensions, operating footprint and load envelope. Include operator space and circulation. A folded machine, an operating assembly and shipping packaging are different cases.
- Before setup, verify the unit manual, inspection, surface and attachment with actual weight, load center and securement. An initial inquiry can start without a drawing; execution requires these checks.
Questions and alternatives
If it fits through the door, can it be installed?
Not necessarily. Check the entire route, deployment area and circulation. We can assess another position or solution when the working area conflicts with audience routes or exits.
Can pallet dimensions be used to book the elevator?
They do not replace dimensions in the actual transport configuration. The specification distinguishes packaged shipping from the stowed unit; obtain actual assembly dimensions and weight and elevator conditions.
Can any boom be fitted or the forks extended?
Compatibility is not assumed across the Eventer family. Identify the attachment reference and EV25 documentation. For an offset load, assess another documented arrangement rather than an improvised extension.
Can it lift a person or leave a load over the audience?
This guide concerns materials, not personnel. The manual prohibits people beneath elevated loads and leaving them unattended. Personnel access or support above an audience needs a separately assessed solution authorized for that purpose.
