Simultaneous interpretation for conferences and events in Miami

Help every participant follow the conversation in their language. GLMedia coordinates interpretation proposals and AV integration for meetings, conferences and corporate events in Miami, Fort Lauderdale and South Florida, working with specialist providers.

Start with a tentative date, your languages and an estimated audience. We help define the system while you develop the program.

One conversation, several languages

  1. Speakers, questions and videos
  2. Original audio for interpreters
  3. Interpretation channels
  4. Listening in the room or online
Every source and language becomes part of the audio plan and rehearsal.

Choose how you want to work with us

We can prepare a combined proposal or work with the interpreters and AV team you have already selected. Together, we define the languages, schedule, listening system and operation your event needs.

Interpretation and technical systems

We coordinate interpreter pricing with the specialist provider and the equipment they need to work and reach the audience. We review the subject, language combinations, session length, breaks and interpreter handovers before defining the team.

Equipment for your interpreting team

Ask about booth, console, transmission, receiver and headphone rentals, with preparation, setup and operation to match the scope. If you want to buy a system, we help define its requirements and quote a compatible configuration.

Integration with your event AV

We plan connections between microphones, videos, interpreters and audience listening. When the hotel or your production company supplies part of the system, we review inputs, outputs and testing times with that team.

A system for the way your event works

In-person conferences and meetings

We define suitable booths or workstations, language channels and listener numbers. Planning covers position, sightlines, acoustic isolation, ventilation, power, and receiver distribution and return.

Remote and hybrid events

We review the platform and how interpreters and participants will listen at each destination. We coordinate tests with the intended accounts, roles and devices, including questions from remote participants.

Concurrent rooms and tours

Each concurrent session needs its own language and resource plan. For visits and tours, we assess portable options and listening along the route with the provider.

Include the questions and videos, too

The speaker's voice is only part of the program. Our plan includes moderator microphones, audience questions, videos and remote guests. We identify the original audio and each language output so the operator can follow the entire signal path.

During rehearsal, we check every language from the source to the listener, speaker changes and interpreter handovers. We review coverage, levels, batteries or charging, and audience assistance with the selected system.

If you need recording or streaming by language, we define what each audience should hear and which files you want to receive. We test samples and channels before the event, with the interpreting team informed about the intended use of their work.

A completed project: 80 simultaneous interpretation units

GLMedia supplied 80 simultaneous interpretation units for an event held in March 2026. The final request focused on equipment. If you already have interpreters or an audio provider, ask us about the equipment and integration your event needs.

An event at Trump National Doral

GLMedia also worked on an event held at Trump National Doral in Miami. For a multilingual meeting or conference, tell us about your program and the services you already have so we can prepare an equipment and AV integration proposal.

These details help us get started

With that information, we propose options and itemize interpreters, equipment, technical crew, transportation and working times. We confirm availability and configuration for your date when preparing the proposal. A floor plan or photo helps; if you do not have one yet, we can start with a description of the event.

Questions to help prepare your request

Is simultaneous translation the same as interpretation?

Event requests often use simultaneous translation, although interpretation is the precise term for spoken language. Interpreters work while the speech continues; translation applies to written text. Tell us what people need to understand and we can define the format.

Can I book equipment only?

Yes. Ask for an equipment and integration proposal if you already have interpreters. We review workstations and connections with them. The proposal identifies the language and technical services so you can choose what to book.

How many interpreters and receivers do I need?

The interpreting team is agreed with the provider based on languages, subject, session length and concurrent sessions. Receiver numbers follow the listeners using them at the same time, with an agreed operating reserve. Total attendance and receiver numbers may differ.

Can interpretation be added to a Zoom event?

We can review that integration with your team. Zoom requires interpretation to be configured for the scheduled session and provides it in the main session, rather than breakout rooms. If you have concurrent workshops, we plan an alternative before invitations go out and test it with the intended participants.

Can you record each language?

Include that request when asking for a quote. We define sessions, languages, tracks or files, and delivery, then test a sample. Being able to listen to a channel during the event does not, by itself, establish how the recording will be saved.

What if my program is still being developed?

Send the tentative date, languages, approximate audience and event format. We can start there and adjust resources as rooms and schedules are confirmed.
