For AWS Summit Washington, D.C., May 23–25, 2022, GLMedia supplied and installed the main-stage LED display system at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. Our work on this project supported a three-day conference program with more than 300 sessions.

The video follows the physical setup and shows the completed stage before the program. It illustrates how the video system fits into a conference’s main-stage environment.

Preparing screens for a conference with multiple sessions
For your conference, we start with what the audience needs to see: presentations, videos, or different content throughout the day. We review the stage layout, speaker positions, and viewing distance to recommend screen sizes and placement. A sample presentation or an image of the space can start the conversation; floor plans and the program help refine the proposal as they become available.
With your content team, we review file formats, connections, and transitions between sessions to select video processing and playback. We also plan support, power, signal routing, and access with the venue. We coordinate setup time, testing, and rehearsals with your production team; you can add technical operation or work with your own operators.

You can rent the equipment or add preparation, delivery, installation, connection, testing, operation, and removal. We work with your production team on presentations, content changes, and rehearsal time to prepare the proposal.
