Prolyte LiteDeck: Standard, TopLok and leg identification
Separate LiteDeck connection types and supports before planning the stage.
Identify the platform
Ask GLMedia about rental options for your event. The proposal is subject to availability, confirmation of the model and configuration, and the venue’s technical requirements.
LiteDeck uses a welded aluminum frame and a removable bolted top. Identify Standard or TopLok, the surface and metric or imperial dimensions.
What the published specifications cover
- Leg example
- The official LiteDeck leg family uses 48 × 4 mm round aluminum tubes.
- Interfaces
- Mechanical deck and leg connections. Electrical equipment requires an appropriate bonding plan.
Confirm the assembly drawing and load case for the actual deck, legs and height. Do not transfer StageDex ratings or apply a static deck rating to a rolling riser.
Deck, supports and accessories
Specify matching decks, leg type, connectors, required bracing, access and edge protection.
Prepare the configuration
- Survey the ground, layout and load locations.
- For the documented round-leg arrangement, fully insert each leg into its pocket and hand-tighten the wing bolts as instructed. Identify the required deck connections and bracing separately; leg retention does not connect adjoining decks.
- Keep damaged or unidentified parts out of service.
Three technical questions
The TopLok does not catch the adjacent deck. Should I force it?
No. Keep the joint unloaded. Check the two connection types, alignment and visible damage; obtain the correct assembly instructions before proceeding.
Can StageDex legs be substituted because they look similar?
Record the LiteDeck leg reference, tube specification, length and pocket connection. Match those details to the actual unit and manufacturer documentation. A matching outside diameter does not establish compatibility; keep an unidentified substitute out of the assembly.
The plywood edge is lifting. Can it be covered with tape?
Tape does not resolve a damaged deck or trip hazard. Remove the deck from use and arrange competent assessment and the prescribed repair or replacement.
Before anyone uses the stage
During maintenance, use suitable independent access and electrical isolation. Do not climb the legs or side members. Resolve current site requirements separately from legacy manual examples.
