Can I change beam width from the console during a presentation?

Documented zoom is manual. Include physical preparation before the event.

Test positions and beam width with fixture and accessories secured. For different tasks, evaluate prepared zones or another source with documented remote zoom.

Why does white change between Studio, Direct and another source?

Modes and spectral reference matter; identical CCT or gel names do not prove the same skin rendition.

Compare one source at a time with a fixed camera. Record mode, CCT, Tint, Tuning and level before saving palettes.
The manual’s Spectral setting prioritizes spectral matching at lower intensity than Brightest. Test the tradeoff in the actual shot without promising maximum output and perfect matching together.

What is needed to evaluate speaker or panel lighting?

Start with date, venue, goal and a photo even when optics or drawings remain undefined.

Add participant count, movement, approximate distances/heights, cameras and existing lights. Identify equipment-only versus preparation/operation needs.
The proposal confirms variant, accessories, count, feasible positions and availability. Camera and coverage tests are agreed for the actual package.

Precautions

The manual specifies indoor use. Do not transfer outdoor-model conditions or improvise protective covers.
Qualified personnel must verify mounts, safety attachments and power for the actual unit and accessories; do not feed it from a dimmer output.
Keep movement clear, follow ventilation and manual restrictions, and avoid direct eye exposure. Persistent errors or damage require removal from service, not field opening or recalibration.
