Model and use

BrightLink 770Fi is an interactive ultra-short-throw 3LCD laser projector with native 1920 × 1080 resolution and a 16:9 aspect ratio. Installation and surface are part of preparation.
The manual specifies 4100 lm white output in Normal mode under ISO 21118 and 4100 lm color output under IDMS 15.4. Check results with the space’s lighting and content.
Picture, control, and accessories
- Picture
- Prepare video source and audio. Identify the selected input and computer or player feeding it.
- Interaction
- Separate built-in annotation from computer-program control. For USB control, check the USB-B port associated with the selected input.
- Pen and fingers
- Finger touch requires an installed optional Touch Unit. Identify accessories before offering that interaction.
What to prepare

Prepare surface measurements and photo, user positions, computer, and application. Check lighting and mounting space too.
Basic preparation
- Confirm 770Fi and available accessories. Define mounting and surface using the corresponding installation guide.
- Prepare picture size, position, and focus before calibration. Do not use a generic distance from another ultra-short-throw projector.
- Connect picture and the corresponding control path for PC Interactive. Check operating system, software, and selected mode.
- Calibrate the pen according to the manual and test cursor alignment across the used area. Recheck after moving the projector or resizing the picture.
- For finger touch, verify Touch Unit installation and preparation against its documentation. Test it separately from the pen.
- Test the complete activity with the planned application, audio, and saving where applicable. Preserve configuration and a rehearsed presentation alternative.
Three technical questions
Why is there a picture but no computer control from the pen?
Check whether built-in annotation or PC Interactive is selected. Identify picture input, control connection, and assigned port.
Check compatible software and configuration before recalibrating. We can help organize a segment-by-segment test using that information.
What if the cursor does not align with the pen?
Check geometry and focus and recalibrate after moving the projector or resizing the image. The manual provides manual calibration if automatic calibration fails.
Test center and edges with the same content. Follow the mount guide for mechanical adjustments; preserve settings before changing digital corrections.
Do fingers work in the same way as pens?
Finger touch requires an installed and prepared optional Touch Unit. Having pens does not establish that the accessory is included.
Share the gesture or activity required. We can prepare a rehearsal and check accessories before defining the proposal.

Limits and precautions
Use mounting and surface suitable for the system under its exact guide. Prepare participant access and circulation.
Do not open or modify the Touch Unit or look into its laser diffusion ports. Follow manufacturer safety instructions for installation and adjustment.
Test lighting, readability, and user reach at the final location. Preserve configuration before changes and recheck after moving the projector.
