ASUS Resolume server — i7, RTX 4070, 64 GB, Blackmagic 8K
Plan the server around the event’s content, captures and video destinations. The local reference lists i7, RTX 4070 and 64 GB; preparation starts by identifying the unit and the card referred to as Blackmagic 8K before agreeing on connections and workload.
Identification and scope
- Manufacturer or brand
- ASUS
- Equipment name
- ASUS server for Resolume: i7, RTX 4070, 64 GB
- Location
- Ask about availability and location
- Supply for the event
- Ask about options for the planned date and scope
- Configuration recorded as a reference
- ASUS server with i7, RTX 4070 and 64 GB according to the local record. The Blackmagic 8K reference does not identify the exact card model. Confirm the unit, processor generation, storage, system, Resolume version and licenses for the proposal.
You can inquire with the intended use while content, formats or the diagram are still undecided. We will review configuration and supply options for the event’s date and scope; this page does not confirm an available unit or installed software.
Information to prepare this item
- Equipment generation and configuration; operating system version, application and license.
- Exact capture/output interface, test content and format requested by each destination.
Identify the card and each output’s path
Record the full server model, Resolume version, and GPU and video card drivers. Request the exact Blackmagic reference and check its connectors, capture or output role and formats in the corresponding documentation; the 8K label alone does not define the workflow.
Draw which signal leaves the GPU, which uses the card, and the adapters or devices along the path to each destination. Record resolution, frame rate, framing and audio for each path. Do not transfer another ASUS device’s or the related NUC’s connections or limits to this server.
Rehearse the composition and destinations under the planned workload
In a project copy, open the real files and run the layers, effects, captures and outputs you will use together. Check image and audio at each destination and save the working configuration; the operator view does not validate every output.
| Point | What to record | How to check |
|---|---|---|
| Project and software | Version, license, drivers, files and composition | Play the real content with the planned layers and effects |
| Captures and outputs | Exact card, GPU, port, adapter and format by destination | Compare image, framing and audio at each receiver with the signals running together |
| Backup and power | Alternative unit, project copy, power supplies and shared paths | Rehearse switching off air and check the result at the destinations |
If the scope includes recording, save a short take and open it in the intended delivery application. Agree on the failures the backup must cover and who will switch. A project copy does not replace a backup unit if it depends on the same power supply, interface or path.
Unit documentation and details to complete
With full identification, we can consult the documentation for the server, Resolume, GPU and corresponding Blackmagic card. Until those references and the rehearsal are confirmed, this page assigns no input or output count, simultaneous formats, composition performance or ability to work in 8K.
Topics to discuss
- Content and versions
- Capture and outputs
- Playback and workload
- Backup and transport
Before applying settings, identify the complete equipment variant and consult its documentation.
