Antari Z‑350: conference haze and irregular output
Define the effect, fluid and venue permission before rehearsal.
Proposed test, scope and alternatives
For visible beams with a readable stage, we propose testing with intended lighting/cameras. Density also depends on ventilation and movement; nominal consumption does not guarantee coverage or effect duration.
The current specification lists Antari FLG/FLH and two DMX channels. Confirm actual unit manual/label, especially older units. Do not mix fluids or add oils/cleaning recipes.
- Coordinate with venue and detection/safety responsible staff. If atmosphere is not permitted, assess lighting/contrast without haze; do not disable alarms.
- Record model, voltage label, identified fluid and history. Plan ventilated placement and manual clearances with accessible controls and clear circulation.
- Check level, untwisted tube, heating and status. Compare manual operation then DMX using the actual channel table and a known source.
- Separate machine production from room dispersal. Record Smoke/Fan, status, time and ventilation. Do not force output through abnormal noise/thermal errors: remove from service and refer for maintenance.
- Agree on startup, rehearsed amount and manual-compliant shutdown. If external checks do not resolve it, assess a replacement rather than internal operator repairs.
Start with your date, venue and approximate needs. We can assess equipment, configuration and operation within an agreed scope.
Does more output always make beams clearer?
No. It can worsen visibility without fixing airflow. Test position and effect with the venue.
Will any haze fluid work?
No. Check Z‑350 approved fluid/revision; do not mix or dilute.
Does low output mean the pump needs replacing?
That symptom alone does not establish pump failure. With no abnormal noise or thermal error, check approved fluid, level, untwisted tube and heating status before comparing manual and DMX control in an authorized rehearsal. If manual operation works but DMX does not, check address, mode and Smoke/Fan values against the applicable table. If output leaves the machine normally but disperses quickly, assess airflow and position with the venue. For persistent irregular output, abnormal noise or errors, remove it from service and provide model, revision, fluid and history to service personnel; do not open it or replace parts as a test.
What can you quote?
We can assess effects with/without atmosphere, compatible machine, consumables, preparation and operator. Send date, venue, duration and visual reference; permission and scope need confirmation.
