Purpose and alternatives
Ki Pro GO2 records up to four HD/SD channels in H.264 or H.265. Four SDI and four HDMI inputs are selectable, not eight simultaneous recordings. Playback is single-channel.
Count every camera and program feed requiring its own file. Beyond four, compare another unit or camera/workstation recording. Agree a different editing codec or conversion scope before quoting.
Case 31: map source, channel and destination
List source, connector/actual format, enabled channel, audio selection, file name and primary/backup destination. Check Enable Channel, Video Input and Audio Input in CONFIG for each channel. Monitoring a source does not prove recording is enabled.
USB and network destinations depend on configuration. Use the current approved-media list for the intended mode; size space and transfer. Rehearse NAS path, permissions and concurrent load on the event network. Ethernet connectivity does not validate recording.
Propose a sample with speech, source identification and cuts. Stop and inspect every file in the agreed editing workflow, including audio channels and synchronization reference. Input frame synchronizers do not replace that check.
Case 32: missing channel or incomplete file
Record channel, time, expected duration, warnings and destination. Separate disabled channel, wrong input, signal loss and writing failure; compare the configured primary and backup. The guide assigns USB 5 backup per channel; attaching media does not create an implicit backup.
Use STOP and confirm recording has closed before removing media or power. Check beginning, affected interval and end; copy while preserving originals before repair or conversion. A listed filename does not establish a complete take.
Inventory camera recordings, another recorder and actual backups to assess reconstruction. Do not promise recovery of an unrecorded feed. Rehearse the simultaneous channels and media before the next show.

GLMedia can evaluate rental, purchase, installation, integration, configuration or operation. Start with date, venue, approximate sources and footage use. Agree program/isolated recording, media, monitoring, staffing and verified copy; scope editing/transcoding separately as needed. Confirm availability and configuration.
Do eight connectors mean eight camera recordings?
No. Assign the required sources to up to four recording channels and size additional paths.
Does inserting another USB drive create a backup?
Check each channel’s backup destination and verify a sample on both primary and backup.
How do we accept multi-camera recording?
Require identified playable files for each needed source, correct audio, duration and synchronization references checked in editing.
